THE STORY
A high school beside a nuclear power plant discovers that contamination is doing terrible things to its students. Teenage rebellion develops a distinctly radioactive complexion.
Troma’s 1986 high-school horror comedy places Tromaville High beside a nuclear power plant. Its official catalogue credits Richard W. Haines, Michael Herz and Lloyd Kaufman, and describes the listed edition as an unrated Director’s Cut.
INSIDE THE FILM
A DIFFERENT KIND OF HIGH SCHOOL
The setting puts Tromaville High within reach of a nuclear power plant. Contamination, teenage life and the Cretins gang turn a familiar school movie into mutant horror. Janelle Brady, Gil Brenton and Robert Prichard lead the catalogue cast.
